The California Department of Education (CDE) is responsible for the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE).
The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) administers the CHSPE under a contract with CDE and has produced
the content of the Information Bulletin and this website.
If you have questions regarding CHSPE registration, administration procedures, admission tickets, transcripts, or
duplicate Certificates of Proficiency, contact the CHSPE Office at the
Sacramento County Office of Education.

If you hand deliver your registration materials, you must call the CHSPE Office
first to arrange for personal delivery. Do not attempt hand delivery at the
Missile Way address.
