Important Notice – Please be aware of the following information:
  • For those who have not yet earned a Certificate of Proficiency, all portions of the CHSPE passed from the April 2004 test administration remain valid for the purpose of earning a Certificate of Proficiency. Sections and subtests previously passed do not need to be taken again and continue to apply to earning the Certificate of Proficiency.

Announcements

  • The fall 2017 CHSPE Administration date is this Saturday, October 21. The CHSPE Office will be open from 7 am to 1:30 pm on the test date. Results for the October CHSPE administration will be mailed on November 24, 2017. Unofficial results will also be available for a limited time beginning at 5 pm on November 22, 2017.
  • As of 5 pm on October 17, registration for the October 2017 administration is now closed. The next test administration will be March 17, 2018. Registration for the March 2018 administration opens on November 30, 2017.

Introducing a new feature: Google Translate

The CHSPE Web site is currently published in English. For those who speak other languages, we've made it easy to use Google's translation service to translate our information into other languages. To translate the entire CHSPE Web Site, just choose a language from the dropdown menu at the bottom left of the English pages. We hope easy access to this free service is helpful.
